Heartland Lodge is purpose built luxury hosted accommodation, situated on two acres of grounds, well back from a quiet rural road on the edge of Twizel. Twizel is the nearest centre to Mt Cook Village, only forty five minutes drive away, and a convenient stop when travelling between Christchurch and Queenstown.

At our lodge, we provide luxury bed and breakfast accommodation with a choice of room options. Each of our 3 stylish and comfortable rooms has a super king bed (that can be split into twin beds) and well appointed ensuite with full bathroom facilities including spa bath.

In addition, at Heartland Lodge we offer The Retreat, a fully self-contained apartment, a quiet, comfortable alternative to motel accommodation suitable as family accommodation or group accommodation.

Our Lodge Accommodation in Twizel has a choice of three spacious guest rooms, all with superking beds, full sized bathrooms with spa baths and stunning mountain views. The Aoraki and Pukaki Rooms look toward the Mount Cook Ranges and the Ohau Room has views of the Ohau and Benmore Ranges.

Warm, friendly, high-end bed and breakfast

My wife and stayed here a night last week en route from Te Anau to Christchurch. The room and ensuite bathroom were each spacious, clean and very nice.

After a sojourn to Lake Pukaki/Mount Cook (wow!!) and dinner in Twizel, we returned to join an interesting chat with the hosts and a few other guests.

Breakfast the next morning was ample, tasty and varied, according to preferences.

Heartland Lodge exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay there again.

Great B&B Aan Amazing Hosts

Great value!!!!! We stayed at Heartland Lodge for a couple nights in March but wish we could have stayed much longer. Accommodation was excellent and breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended and will definitely stay longer next time.
